How long have you been in business?
7 years
What is your favourite booth? I absolutely love the MobileMax and DSLR Curve booths from Danny Max. The quality of the booth is amazing and the sleek design of the booth itself is so impressive. And don’t even get me started on the Mobi Booth Aura M View it’s truly a game changer. These booths are my go-to for any event.
What is your favourite software? My go-to photo booth software options are Darkroom Booth, Touchpix, and Snappic. I find that each one has its own unique features and benefits, so I like to use all three depending on the event or occasion.

Tell us about the best event you ever did?

I pride myself on hosting exceptional events, but the 2020 HBO New York Latinos Film Festival was particularly memorable.

Despite the Covid-related shutdowns, we adapted by moving the festival to an outdoor drive-in theater. To prioritize safety, I provided touchless roaming photo booths. The event was successful, and we were invited back the following year to an even bigger drive-in venue. We had three roaming photo booths and one stationary video booth this time.

Your 3 Tips for success in the photo booth industry:

#1 Research

If you want to succeed in the photo booth industry, the first step is research. In addition to developing a business plan, it’s important to thoroughly research equipment so that you can purchase the right gear. It’s best to buy the same brands that established and reputable photo booth companies in your area are using, rather than going for the first booth you see advertised on Facebook.

#2 Education

Photography knowledge is not essential for running a successful business, but becoming familiar with the software and hardware used in the photo booth industry can be very beneficial. Knowing these tools can help you troubleshoot problems and enhance your creativity. Understanding the limits of your equipment can also inspire you to push beyond those boundaries and provide unique offerings that others may not have.

#3 Network

Build a strong network of support, connect with other photobooth companies in your area and view them as allies rather than competition. Join Photobooth Community and Photo Booth Network groups and attend the Photo Booth Expo for additional opportunities to connect.
