Marhaba! Layla Queen is a highly experienced photographer and event specialist with over a decade of experience.

A native of Amman, Jordan, she moved to New York at the age of 25 and has since settled in South Florida with her two sons, who proudly tower over her and whom she loves dearly (Her purpose).

She has been running her own photo booth business for 7 years, but her background lies in portrait and headshot photography.

Tell us about the best event you ever did?

The team and I have had so many good events. Utah Jazz was a great event which stands out for us.

We built ski lift, elf on the shelf activations, with 2 personalized gave-away stations; including picture frames, and laser engraving on plates on site from our booths. We also built 5 giant Holiday balloons garlands!

Your 3 Tips for success in the photo booth industry: 

#1 You are your brand

Establish a great brand presence. Know what differentiates you from others based on your own unique value.

#2 If you want to go corporate, you have to look corporate

Website, setup, professional attire and attitude. But first and foremost, buy high quality equipment; to make money you need to spend money. 

#3 If you are good at something never do it for free

 Free events are a great way to start out and build your experience, but once you have those 3 testers and case studies… it’s time to value yourself and your service offering!
