Tell us about the best event you ever did?

One of my favorite events occurred last Summer at the Old Post Office in Chicago. The venue is gorgeous, and everything about the wedding was done beautifully. The bride and groom booked the entire building for their special day, including saying their vows on the rooftop. The two-hour cocktail took place on the second floor; we were first stationed on the second floor with an open bar, floating stations of hors d’oeuvres, and some of the best Chicago River views in the city.

We covered cocktail hour(s), and we had to do a complete teardown and set up on the main floor during dinner for the second half of our agreement. The bride and groom took many photos in the photo booth, and we had a blast covering the event.

Your 3 Tips for success in the photo booth industry

#1 Be yourself!
Do in your business what works best for you and yours. Don’t compare your business with anyone else. You are not in competition with anyone but yourself, grow and learn to improve your business year-over-year, and then measure how far you’ve come.

#2 Invest in education
The best way to elevate your product and services is to be the subject matter expert in your business. Invest your time in becoming an expert in the software, camera, and lighting you are using and upgrade accordingly.

#3 Find your niche booth
Figure out your favorite booth and focus on providing the best experience. You are not required to buy every booth available. Instead, focus on your favorite booth and become the premium version in your market.
